Many times I am Martha more than Mary. My concern about social appointments taking preference over a quiet time with God or the needs of my neighbor. I pray that I may be of service to God in my daily life and in how I speak of God to others. Am I often too busy with material things instead of spiritual things that should take preference in my life.
