support the abbey this spring
Dear Friend in Christ,
Thank you for reading Abbot James’ letter during this joyful Easter season and the blossoming of spring. As the Church celebrates the resurrection of Christ and prepares for the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, we are reminded that new life and renewed hope are always possible in Him.
It was in the early morning, as the sun rose on the first day of the week, that the women went to the tomb—and found it empty. From that moment on, light began to break into the world in a new and definitive way. The Resurrection reminds us that God is always doing something new, calling us out of darkness into the radiance of His life. And as we journey from Easter to Pentecost, we open our hearts anew to the Spirit who strengthens, inspires, and sends us forth.
At St. Benedict’s Abbey, we strive to live in that light, walking by faith and sharing the joy of the Risen Christ with all whom we serve. As monks, we seek to bring that light into the world through prayer, hospitality, and faithful work. And it is with that same Easter joy and Pentecost hope that we ask for your support.
Will you make a gift today to help us continue on this journey of faith?
