Thank you for reading our October newsletter and showing an interest in our nation’s political process, particularly considering the upcoming general election. As faithful Catholics, it is crucial for us to be informed about the teachings of the Church as we cast our votes. 

While the monks do not endorse any candidates for office or party platforms, we support a robust, discerning electoral process, and we encourage everyone to be engaged and informed in building a just and equitable society. The USCCB has created many resources for Catholics to form their consciences in the light of the teachings of the Church. Since many of these resources are for diocesan and parish leaders, we have curated a list of those that are more suitable for your needs as everyday citizens, for use in your households and in your personal interactions.
