abbot’s table xiv

April 3, 2027

Join Abbot James R. Albers, O.S.B. and the monks of St. Benedict’s Abbey at Abbot’s Table XII on Saturday, April 3, 2027. The monks will award the Lumen Vitae Medal to The Most Reverend James Conley, Bishop of the Diocese of Lincoln in Nebraska, and Catholic Educators of St. Benedict Catholic School, Maur Hill Mount Academy, and Benedictine College.

Registration is not yet open for this event but we encourage you to join our mailing list to be notified of any changes or updates regarding Abbot’s Table XIV.

The Abbot’s Table is an annual fundraising event supporting the One Mission, One Future Fund for the general operating needs of St. Benedict's Abbey. This event brings together friends, supporters, and the Abbey community to celebrate our mission, honor two exceptional award recipients, and provide a behind-the-scenes look at the lives and ministries of the monks.

Each year, we come together in prayer and fellowship to reflect on the contributions of our Lumen Vitae Medal honorees, celebrate the achievements of the Abbey, and support its ongoing spiritual and charitable works.

2027 Lumen Vitae Medal Recipients

The Lumen Vitae Medal is presented each year to two honorees—individuals, families, or organizations—whose work and service reflect the values of the Abbey and the Church.
