Knights Legacy Giving

After a lifetime of selfless service, a member of the Knights of Columbus shared  one more charitable act in his bequest of a legacy gift that we have dedicated to his memory and in honor of all those who have served as Knights. As a Fourth Degree Knight, he also entrusted to the Abbey an engraved chalice which will be used during the sacred banquet of the Eucharist—the ceremony of receiving the chalice is pictured above. When a chalice is dedicated to St. Benedict’s Abbey, we ensure that it is gifted to a newly ordained priest  in missionary territory who may otherwise not have the means to obtain a chalice.

This selfless Knight’s gift will support our mission for generations to come in the Knights of Columbus Memorial Endowed Fund. We encourage other Knights who have included the Abbey in their estate plans to inform us of their intent, and if so desired, we can designate your estate bequests into the endowed fund for all Knights. By considering a bequest, Knights can continue to serve our community through their generosity. We will perpetually remember all knights as true champions of faith and community.
